Chevelon Software builds products with a strong respect for user privacy. This page explains the privacy practices that apply to our current products.

Overview

RepGuide does not require an account. Workout content remains stored locally on the user's device. RepGuide uses limited product analytics to understand general feature usage and improve the product.

Information We Collect

RepGuide does not collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Physical address
  • Payment information
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Location

RepGuide may collect limited product-usage and technical analytics information, such as an anonymous or pseudonymous analytics identifier, app version or build, platform, feature-use events, coarse counts and categories, reminder setting categories, and progression interaction events.

Workout Data

Workout data is stored locally on the user's device. Workout data includes workouts, machines, weights, repetitions, notes, settings, and history.

RepGuide analytics is intentionally designed not to include workout names, machine names, workout notes, machine notes, exact weights, exact repetitions, detailed workout-history records, or free-text user content.

Notifications

Workout reminders are scheduled locally on the user's device. RepGuide may record limited product analytics such as whether reminders are enabled or disabled and broad configuration categories.

Third-Party Services

RepGuide uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog processes limited product-usage analytics on behalf of Chevelon Software. Session Replay is not enabled, and analytics is not used for advertising.

Data Sharing

Chevelon Software does not sell or rent user data. Limited analytics information is transmitted to PostHog as a service provider used to understand product usage and improve RepGuide.

Data Security

Workout data is stored locally on the user's device. Device security such as a passcode or biometric protection helps protect locally stored workout history.

Children's Privacy

RepGuide is not directed toward children under 13.

Future Features

If future versions introduce cloud backup, account synchronization, AI coaching, or materially different data practices, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.

Changes to This Policy

The Effective Date identifies the latest version of this policy.
